FRESNO, Calif. – Fresno State senior cornerback Jakari Embry was named to the Associated Press All-Bowl Team, announced by the AP on Monday. Embry is one of five defensive backs on the All-Bowl Team as the AP puts together two postseason all-star teams, its All-Bowl Team and All-Playoff Team.
The senior Bulldog capped his career with two tackles, an interception and a fumble recovery. Both of his turnovers were momentum shifts for the Bulldogs in the win over Miami (OH) in the Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl on Dec. 27.
Embry led Fresno State to its sixth bowl win in its last seven bowl games. Fresno State was one of two Mountain West teams to win its bowl game in 2025 as Embry is joined by Hawai’i receiver Pofele Ashlock on the AP All-Bowl team.
