COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Colorado State’s Lexus Bargesser collected the Old Trapper Mountain West Women’s Basketball Player of the Week nod, while New Mexico’s Laila Abdurraqib was tabbed the Old Trapper MW Freshman of the Week.

- Guided the Rams to a 1-1 week at home with a loss to Utah (70-58) and a win over Southern Utah (70-47).
- Averaged 21 points, 9.5 boards, 3.5 assists and two steals per game.
- Against the Utes, logged 19 points, 10 rebounds, three steals and two assists for the Green and Gold.
- Against the Thunderbirds, recorded a career-high 23 points, nine rebounds, five assists and one steal.
FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
LAILA ABDURRAQIB, NEW MEXICO
Guard, Fishers, Indiana/Lawrence Central HS
- Helped the Lobos to a road win over Big 12 opponent Arizona (72-69).
- Came off the bench to tally a career-high 13 points, one rebound and one assist.
- Shot 57 percent from the field, 60 percent from beyond the arc and was perfect from the charity stripe.
