COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Old Trapper Mountain West Football Players of the Week have been announced for Week 14. Boise State sophomore quarterback Max Cutforth has been tabbed the Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week, while New Mexico senior safety Austin Brawley is the MW Defensive Player of the Week. Fresno State senior kicker Dylan Lynch was named the MW Special Teams Player of the Week and Hawai‘i quarterback Micah Alejado is the MW Freshman of the Week.

The MW awards are the 10th for Alejado, third for Lynch, second for Brawley and first for Cutforth.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
MAX CUTFORTH, BOISE STATE
Sophomore, Quarterback, Nampa, Idaho/Skyview HS
• Completed 26 of 49 passes for 341 yards and two touchdowns to lead Boise State to a 25-24 win at Utah State to finish the regular season tied atop the MW standings.
• Posted career highs in completions, yards and touchdowns in the win.
• His 341 passing yards were the most in the MW and seventh-most in the FBS during the week.
• Threw touchdown passes of 11 and 66 yards.
• Directed a Bronco offense that turned in 512 yards of offense and converted 13 of 24 third downs.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
AUSTIN BRAWLEY, NEW MEXICO
Senior, Safety, Massillon, Ohio/Ohio
• Recorded a season-high 10 tackles, one sack, a forced fumble and an interception as New Mexico downed MW-leading San Diego State 23-17 in double overtime to move into a tie atop the Conference standings.
• With the Lobos up 3-0 and SDSU in field-goal range late in the first quarter, Brawley forced a fumble that New Mexico recovered, leading to a touchdown.
• With less than a minute left in the fourth quarter and the score tied at 17, he recorded a 6-yard sack to knock the Aztecs out of field-goal range and force a punt.
• On San Diego State’s first play of overtime, Brawley recorded his third interception of the season in just his fourth game.

SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
DYLAN LYNCH, FRESNO STATE
Senior, Placekicker, Bakersfield, California/Liberty HS
• Scored 15 points in Fresno State’s 41-14 win at San José State, converted a season-high four field goals and adding three extra points.
• His 15 points were a season high.
• Connected on field goals from 34, 41, 41 and 33 yards.
• Two of his field goals came after Fresno State collected turnovers.

FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
MICAH ALEJADO, HAWAI‘I
Redshirt Freshman, Quarterback, Las Vegas, Nevada/Bishop Gorman HS
• Completed 17 of 24 passes for 289 yards and two touchdowns to lead Hawai‘i to a 27-7 win over Wyoming.
• Completed 71 percent of his passes.
• Threw touchdowns of 19 and 78 yards.
• Set a Hawai‘i freshman record for touchdown passes with his 20th and 21st of the season.
• Earned his MW-record sixth Freshman of the Week honor this season.
