COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Colorado State sophomore forward Kyle Jorgensen has been named the Old Trapper Mountain West Men’s Basketball Player of the Week, while Wyoming’s Naz Meyer was tabbed the Old Trapper MW Freshman of the Week.

KYLE JORGENSEN, COLORADO STATE
Sophomore, Forward, Minneapolis, Minnesota/Minneapolis Washburn
- Led Colorado State to a pair of wins over Incarnate World (98-64) and Omaha (97-74) to open the 2025-26 season.
- Nearly averaged a double-double with 20 points and nine rebounds per game, while shooting 64.7 percent from the field.
- Recorded a career-best 15 points and nine boards in the season opener.
- Registered another career high with 25 points on Sunday. Also, grabbed nine rebounds.
MEN’S BASKETBALL FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
NAZ MEYER, WYOMING
Guard, Los Angeles, California/New Hampton School
- Helped Wyoming to a 2-0 record to start the season with wins over Northern State (99-75) and Cal State Fullerton (92-82).
- Averaged 18.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists in 46 minutes of action on the hardwood.
- Against Northern State, he recorded 19 points, the second-most by a true freshman in his Cowboy debut in the MW era. Also tallied six boards, three assists and a block.
- Posted 18 points, five rebounds and four assists against Cal State Fullerton.
