COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Mountain West announced on Tuesday athletes of the week for women’s swimming & diving. Fresno State’s Mackenzie Miller Lung was named the MW Swimmer of the Week, Nevada’s Bailey Heydra earned MW Diver of the Week honors and Nevada’s Moji Pholjamjumrus was tabbed as the MW Freshman of the Week.

MOUNTAIN WEST SWIMMER OF THE WEEK
MACKENZIE MILLER LUNG, FRESNO STATE
Senior, Clovis, California/Clovis East HS
• Swam an Aquatics Center and Fresno State record in two events (100-yard breaststroke and 200-yard breaststroke) against conference opponent Nevada.
• Broke the pool, program and Mountain West records in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 58.33, besting her pervious NCAA qualifying standard (59.44).
• Her 100-yard breaststroke time is the fastest in the Mountain West and the 10th fastest in the nation this season.
• Also broke the pool and program records in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:07.78, earning an NCAA qualification time.
• Her 200-yard breaststroke time ranks fastest in the MW and third-fastest in the nation this season.
• Placed first in three events (100-yard breaststroke, 200-yard breaststroke and 200-yard medley relay) and second in the 400-yard free relay.
• This is the second time she’s been named the MW Swimmer of the Week this season.

MOUNTAIN WEST DIVER OF THE WEEK
BAILEY HEYDRA, NEVADA
Senior, Johannesburg, South Africa/St Stithians College
• Helped lead Nevada to a victory in a Mountain West dual over Fresno State.
• Won both diving events she entered, surpassing the NCAA Zone qualifying standard in both events.
• Won the 1-meter dive with a score of 295.66 and won the 3-meter dive with a score of 324.05.
• Both of her dives were the top scores in the MW this week.
• This is her second straight MW Diver of the Week honor and the fourth of her career.

MOUNTAIN WEST FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
MOJI PHOLJAMJUMRUS, NEVADA
Swimmer, Bangkok, Thailand/Southport State HS (Gold Coast, Australia)
• Set pool records in the 200-yard butterfly (1:56.35) and 400-yard individual medley (4:13.84), earning NCAA qualification 200 fly.
• Leads the Mountain West in the 200-yard butterfly by three seconds and is currently ranked 18th nationally.
• Leads the Mountain West in the 400-yard individual medley by over four seconds and is currently ranked 22nd nationally.
• This is the second time she’s earned MW Freshman of the Week honors.
