LOGAN, Utah – Utah State receiver Braden Pegan has been added to the Biletnikoff Award Watch List it was announced on Wednesday by The Tallahassee Quarterback Club.

The Biletnikoff Award annually recognizes college football’s outstanding FBS receiver. Any player, regardless of position (wide receiver, tight end, slot back, and running back) who catches a pass is eligible for the award. The award is named after NFL Hall of Fame receiver Fred Biletnikoff and was established in 1994.

Semifinalists, finalists, and the eventual recipient of the Biletnikoff Award are selected by a distinguished committee of more than 600 college football journalists, commentators, announcers, former winners, and other notable receivers.

Semifinalists will be announced on Nov. 17, and finalists will be announced on Nov. 25. The 2025 Biletnikoff Award Winner will be announced as part of The Home Depot College Football Awards on Dec. 12.

  • Has caught 39 passes for 654 yards (16.8 ypr/81.8 ypg) and five touchdowns. Leads the team in every receiving category.
  • Has two 100-yard receiving games this year as he caught a career-high seven passes for a career-best 147 yards against Air Force and had five receptions for 108 yards at New Mexico.
  • Currently ranks second in the Mountain West and 20th in the nation in receiving yards per game (81.8), third in the MW and 33rd in the nation in receiving touchdowns with five, fourth in the MW and 52nd in the nation in yards per reception (16.8) and sixth in the MW and 58th in the nation in receptions per game (4.9).
