COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Major League Baseball postseason is set to begin Tuesday with nine players from current Mountain West institutions on seven of the 12 MLB playoff teams’ 40-man rosters.

Fresno State, Nevada, New Mexico and San Diego State each have two players competing in the postseason, while UNLV has one.
