COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The 2025 Mountain West Football Championship game on Friday, Dec. 5, will kick at 6 p.m. MT/5 p.m. PT/3 p.m. HT. The contest will be nationally televised on the FOX broadcast network for a sixth consecutive season.
The Mountain West will showcase its top two programs in its annual title game on national television for the 13th consecutive year. The league’s championship game will be featured in a prime-time window on a Friday for the second straight season.
The MW Football Championship game will be hosted by the Conference team with the best winning percentage in MW play.
The last two MW title games have featured Boise State and UNLV, with the Broncos winning both battles. Boise State hosted the contest in 2024 and UNLV hosted in 2023.
Last year’s contest served as a de facto play-in contest for the College Football Playoff, with Boise State and UNLV both ranked by the CFP and vying to finish as one of the five highest-ranked conference champions. With their win in the MW Football Championship, the Broncos claimed the No. 3 seed in the CFP and a bye into the quarterfinals.
