COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Four Mountain West players are on the watch list for the 2025 Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award, which is presented annually to the top senior or upperclassman quarterback who is on track to graduate with his class.
Boise State’s Maddux Madsen, Colorado State’s Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi, Fresno State’s E.J. Warner and San José State’s Walker Eget represent the MW on the watch list.
The MW’s total of four representatives trails only the ACC, SEC, Big 12 and Big Ten among FBS conferences.
Now in its 39th year, the Golden Arm Award continues to honor excellence both on and off the field. The award is presented by the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Educational Foundation in partnership with A. O. Smith Corporation, whose mission aligns with the Foundation’s commitment to advancing the game of football while promoting character, leadership, and academic achievement among young athletes.
Throughout the season, the watch list will be narrowed to semifinalists and finalists before a winner is named in December.
