COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Four Mountain West players are on the 2025 watch list for the Lombardi Award, which honors the outstanding college football lineman who displays exceptional performance and ability and embodies the character and discipline that Vince Lombardi championed throughout his life.

Air Force senior noseguard Payton Zdroik, Boise State junior offensive tackle Kage Casey and junior EDGE Jayden Virgin-Morgan and Wyoming senior center Jack Walsh represent the Mountain West on the watch list.

The MW’s four selections trail only the SEC, Big Ten, ACC and Big 12.

The midseason watch list will be announced Oct. 14, with semifinalists announced Nov. 4 and four finalists announced Nov. 18.

Celebrating its 52nd anniversary, the Lombardi Award has been presented in Houston, Texas, since its establishment in 1970. The 2025 award dinner is scheduled for Dec. 10, with net proceeds from gala sponsorships and table sales dedicated to supporting cancer research.
