COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – On Wednesday, 1,352 student-athletes were named to the Spring 2025 Academic All-Mountain West team, the Conference announced. Spring sports include women’s swimming and diving, men’s and women’s basketball, women’s gymnastics, men’s and women’s indoor and outdoor track and field, men’s and women’s golf, men’s and women’s tennis, softball and baseball.
To be eligible for selection, student-athletes must have completed at least one academic term at the member institution while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better and competed in 50 percent of the teams completed varsity contests. Some latitude was permitted to accommodate injured student-athletes.
This year’s total is second-most in MW history behind only the 2,045 selections from Spring 2021, when the participation requirement was omitted due to the impact of COVID-19.
