COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Eleven former Mountain West football players are set to take part in the United Football League postseason. The UFL Conference Championship Games Presented By New Era are set for June 8, with the winners meeting in the UFL Championship on June 14.

All four UFL postseason squads boast at least one former MW player on their rosters.

The USFL Conference Championship game will see the Michigan Panthers visit the defending UFL champion Birmingham Stallions in a contest that will feature seven former MW players. Quarterback Andrew Peasley (Wyoming), outside linebacker Kyahva Tezino (San Diego State) and offensive lineman Barry Wesley (Colorado State) helped the Stallions to a 7-3 mark and wins over the Panthers in Weeks 2 and 9. Outside linebacker Frank Ginda (San José State), wide receiver Siaosi Mariner (Utah State), running back Toa Taua (Nevada) and linebacker Javin White (UNLV) led the Panthers to a 6-4 record. The USFL Conference Championship will air on ABC at 3 p.m. ET on Sunday, June 8.

The XFL Conference Championship game will feature the St. Louis Battlehawks hosting the DC Defenders. Four former MW players are on those squads, with free safety Tayler Hawkins (San Diego State) on the Defenders’ roster and quarterback Chevan Cordeiro (San José State), defensive back Kameron Kelly (San Diego State) and tackle Teton Saltes (New Mexico) representing the Battlehawks. St. Louis fashioned the best record in the league at 8-2, including a 13-8 win over DC in Week 10 to close the regular season. The Defenders finished 6-4 and beat the Battlehawks 27-15 in Week 3. The XFL Conference Championship will air on FOX at 6 p.m. ET on Sunday, June 8.

The 2025 UFL Championship Game presented by Underdog is set for The Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis. The league’s second championship will air on ABC on Saturday, June 14, at 8 p.m. ET.
