LAS VEGAS – The Mountain West announced the 2025 Women’s Tennis All-Conference Team and individual honors on Tuesday evening, as voted on by the league’s 11 head coaches.

Nevada’s Amahée Charrier has been tabbed the 2025 Mountain West Women’s Tennis Player of the Year. The standout junior posted a 14-3 overall record this spring, including an impressive 8-1 mark in conference play at the No. 1 singles spot. Charrier had an overall record of 26-7 on the season. A two-time All-Mountain West selection, Charrier adds this year’s top honor to a growing list of accolades, having also been named Mountain West Freshman of the Year in 2023. She is just the second Nevada player to earn MW Player of the Year honors since 2017. Charrier also picked up Mountain West Player of the Week recognition once during the season.

Boise State’s Maya Dutta has been named the 2025 Mountain West Freshman of the Year. Dutta made an immediate impact in her debut season, earning MW Freshman of the Week honors six times, setting a new program record. She also picked up a Mountain West Player of the Week award during the regular season. Competing primarily at the No. 2 singles position, Dutta posted a 12-5 record this spring, including a 5-4 mark in conference play. The freshman had an overall record of 17-7 on the season. She becomes just the second Bronco in program history to receive the league’s Freshman of the Year honor.
