COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Opening day of the 2025 Major League Baseball Season has arrived. The Mountain West boasts 21 players from current Mountain West institutions on 14 different active MLB rosters.
Fresno State leads the way in the clubhouse with five players on active MLB rosters, while UNLV is just behind with four players. Nevada and Washington State each have three, while New Mexico and San Diego State have two players each on MLB rosters to start the season.
