COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The 2025 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament bracket has been revealed, with four Mountain West teams headed to The Big Dance.

Colorado State, the Mountain West’s automatic qualifier, earned a No. 12 seed. New Mexico, the 2025 regular-season champion, and Utah State earned at-large bids and are both No. 10 seeds. San Diego State also received an at-large bid and is a No. 11 seed.

This marks the seventh straight NCAA tournament the MW has had multiple bids, including four or more teams each of the last four years. Overall, it marks the 22nd time in Conference history the MW has had two or more teams in the NCAA tournament.

2025 Mountain West tournament champion Colorado State (25-9) heads to Seattle, Washington, to play No. 5 seed Memphis (29-5). CSU’s first-round match up is Friday, March 21, at 11 a.m. PT on TBS. The Rams are making their 13th NCAA postseason appearance in program history and second in a row. Since joining the MW in 1999, Colorado State has earned six NCAA tournament bids and third under head coach Niko Medved.

New Mexico (26-7) faces No. 7 seed Marquette (23-10) on Friday, March 21, in Cleveland, Ohio. The contest begins at 7:25 p.m. ET on TBS. The Lobos are making their 17th NCAA tournament appearance in program history and second in a row. New Mexico has played in the NCAA tournament six times since the MW began in 1999-2000.

Utah State (26-7) is headed to Lexington, Kentucky, to play No. 7 seed UCLA (22-10) on Thursday, March 20. USU tips off at 9:25 p.m. ET on TNT. The Aggies are making their 25th overall NCAA tournament appearance and fifth since joining the Mountain West in 2013. Utah State is making its third straight NCAA appearance since earning back-to-back bids in 2019 and 2021.

San Diego State (21-9) will face North Carolina (22-13) in Dayton on Tuesday, March 18, in the NCAA First Four. The Aztecs will tip off at 9:10 p.m. ET on TruTV. With this season’s postseason appearance, the Aztecs are competing in the NCAA tournament for the 17th time in program history and the 14th time since the Mountain West’s inception in 1999-2000. This marks SDSU’s fifth consecutive NCAA tournament appearance.
