COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – All four teams within the Mountain West were represented as the conference announced weekly gymnastics award winners for Week 7 of the 2025 season.

ALL-AROUNDER & CO-FLOOR SPECIALIST OF THE WEEK
MAGGIE SLIFE, AIR FORCE
So., Oconomowoc, Wisconsin / Arrowhead HS

  • Scored a conference-best 39.325 in the all-around, finishing second in a meet with UC Davis and San José State.
  • Scored a conference-best 9.875 on floor to share weekly honors with Utah State’s Jenna Eagles and Isabella Vater.
  • Recorded a 9.750 on vault, 9.850 on bars and 9.850 on beam en route to her all-around total.
  • Slife has won a league-best 11 weekly awards this season

VAULT SPECIALIST OF THE WEEK
ALYSSA VULAJ, BOISE STATE
Sr., Yorba Linda, California / Yorba Linda HS

  • Scored a league-best 9.825 on vault to capture the individual title in a dual meet at Utah State.
  • Also competed on beam and floor, recording a 9.850 and 9.800, respectively.
  • Vulaj was also the MW Vault Specialist of the Week in Week 2 of the 2025 season.

BARS SPECIALIST & FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
LUNDYN VANDERTOOLEN, UTAH STATE
Fr., Cottonwood Heights, Utah / Brighton HS

  • Scored a league-best 9.925 on bars to capture the individual title in a dual meet against Boise State.
  • The 9.925 was also the highest mark on any event by a freshman in the league this week.
  • Also competed on vault during the meet, scoring a 9.775.
  • VanderToolen is the fourth different Aggie to be named Bars Specialist of the Week this season.

BEAM SPECIALIST OF THE WEEK
MARISSA ASHTON, SAN JOSÉ STATE
So., Buford, Georgia / Buford HS

  • Scored a league-best 9.900 on beam to capture the individual title in a meet against Air Force and UC Davis.
  • The award is Ashton’s first weekly honor of the season and third of her career.

CO-FLOOR SPECIALIST OF THE WEEK
JENNA EAGLES, UTAH STATE
Gr., Ramsey, Minnesota / Anoka HS / Lindenwood

  • Scored a league-best 9.875 on floor to capture the individual title in a dual meet against Boise State.
  • Also competed on beam during the meet, scoring a 9.800.
  • Shared the individual title on floor with teammate Isabella Vater, and shared weekly honors with Air Force’s Maggie Slife.
  • Eagles has now earned three weekly honors this season, including a Floor Specialist of the Week in Week 4.

CO-FLOOR SPECIALIST OF THE WEEK
ISABELLA VATER, UTAH STATE
So., Las Vegas, Nevada / Faith Lutheran HS

  • Scored a league-best 9.875 on floor to capture the individual title in a dual meet against Boise State.
  • Shared the individual title with teammate Jenna Eagles, and shared weekly honors with Air Force’s Maggie Slife.
  • The award is Vater’s first of her career.

Teams in the Mountain West return to dual meet action this week when Boise State hosts Air Force on Friday, Feb. 28, while Utah State travels to San José State to open the month of March on Sunday, March 2. With a win Friday, the Broncos would clinch the MW regular-season title outright.

The 2025 regular season will culminate at the Credit Union 1 MW Gymnastics Championship, slated to be hosted by San José State on Saturday, March 22. Tickets are available at this link or through the SJSU ticket office.
