- Colorado State’s Nique Clifford is third in the nation in defensive rebounds per game, averaging 8.67 in 2024-25. He also ranks ninth in the country with 13 double-doubles.
- New Mexico’s Donovan Dent is 12th in the nation in total assists with 176 this season. Dent is averaging 19.6 points per game, ranking 24th in the country in scoring average.
- Dent is the lone MW player named to the Oscar Robertson Trophy Midseason Watch List and he Naismith Trophy Midseason Watch List.
- UNM’s Nelly Junior Joseph has recorded 13 double-doubles this season, which is tied for the ninth-most double-doubles in the country. He also ranks eighth in total rebounds with 285 on the year.
- San Diego State’s Magoon Gwath is sixth in DI men’s basketball in blocks per game after averaging 2.6.
- SDSU sophomore Miles Byrd is among the top 10 players on the Basketball Hall of Fame’s 2025 Julius Erving Award watch list.
- Wyoming’s Obi Agbim is connecting on 47 percent of attempts from long range, which is the third-best 3-point field goal percentage in the country.
