COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Wyoming center Allyson Fertig was tabbed the Mountain West Women’s Basketball Player of the Week and Colorado State’s Kloe Froebe collected the MW Women’s Basketball Freshman of the Week.

This is the third MW weekly honor for both Fertig and Froebe during the 2024-25 season.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK

ALLYSON FERTIG, WYOMING

Senior, Center, Glendo, Wyoming/Douglas HS

  • Led the Cowgirls to a 2-0 week with wins over Air Force (64-56) and San José State (59-54).
  • Averaged 24 points, 15.5 rebounds, two assists and two blocks per game.
  • Across the two contests, shot 67.7 percent from the floor (21-for-31) and 45.5 percent from the charity stripe (5-for-11).
  • Against the Falcons, logged a 30-point, 15 rebound double-double along with three blocks, two assists and one steal.
  • Against the Spartans, recorded an 18 point, 16 rebound double-double. Additionally, contributed two assists and one block for the Brown and Gold.

FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK

KLOE FROEBE, COLORADO STATE

Guard, Lincoln, Illinois/ Lincoln HS

  • Assisted the Rams to a 2-0 week with wins over Utah State (72-54) and on the road at Air Force (65-58).
  • Averaged 13.5 points, eight rebounds and 2.5 assists per game, while coming off the bench.
  • Shot 55 percent from the field (11-for-20) and 62.5 percent from the free-throw line (5-for-8).
  • Against the Aggies, tallied a 20 point, 11 rebound double-double, three assists and one steal for the Green and Gold.
  • At Air Force, notched seven points, five rebounds and two assists.
