COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – San José State senior Alex Fernandes has been named the Mountain West Baseball Player of the Week, while Fresno State junior Jack Anker has been selected the MW Baseball Pitcher of the Week. New Mexico’s Cooper Brass collected the MW Baseball Freshman of the Week honor.

- Led San José State to a 2-1 series victory at Louisiana.
- Batted .778 in three starts with seven hits, four RBIs and six runs scored.
- Posted an .800 on-base percentage and a 1.000 slugging percentage.
- Registered multi-hit games in two of three outings.

JACK ANKER, FRESNO STATE

- Pitched six scoreless innings in Fresno State’s 7-1 win over BYU on Friday.
- Limited the Cougars to four hits and no walks.
- Struck out a career-high 10 batters in his 2025 debut.

- Helped New Mexico to a 2-1 record at the MLB Desert Invitational to start the 2025 campaign.
- Batted .857 in two starts with six hits, two RBIs and two runs scored.
- Posted an .875 on-base percentage and a 1.143 slugging percentage.
