COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Air Force sophomore Maggie Slife recorded her fifth straight All-Arounder of the Week award in addition to earning two other weekly accolades as the Mountain West announced weekly gymnastics honors for Week 5 of the 2025 season.

ALL-AROUNDER & BARS & FLOOR SPECIALIST OF THE WEEK
MAGGIE SLIFE, AIR FORCE
So., Oconomowoc, Wisconsin / Arrowhead HS

  • Scored a conference-best 39.225 in a tri-meet against Greenville and MW foe Boise State.
  • Captured the bars title with a conference-best 9.925 at the meet.
  • Also won the individual title on floor with a conference-best 9.925 at the meet.
  • Rounded out her all-around total with a 9.675 on vault and 9.700 on beam.

CO-VAULT SPECIALIST OF THE WEEK
EMILY LOPEZ, BOISE STATE
Sr., Mission Viejo, California / Trabuco Hills HS

  • Scored a league-best 9.800 on vault during a tri-meet against Greenville and MW foe Air Force.
  • Also competed on bars and beam at the meet, scoring a 9.850 and 9.875, respectively.

CO-VAULT SPECIALIST OF THE WEEK
NYLA MORABITO, UTAH STATE
So., Welland, Ontario, Canada / Notre Dame College School

  • Scored a league-best 9.800 on vault during a dual meet at Southern Utah.
  • Also competed on floor at the meet, scoring a 9.875.

CO-BEAM SPECIALIST & FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
KRISTINA SHCHENNIKOVA, BOISE STATE
Fr., Morrison, Colorado / Lakewood HS

  • Scored a league-best 9.900 on beam during a tri-meet against Greenville and MW foe Air Force.
  • The 9.900 was the highest mark by a freshman in the conference on any event this week.
  • Also competed on bars during the meet, scoring a 9.800.

CO-BEAM SPECIALIST OF THE WEEK
BRIANNA BROOKS, UTAH STATE
Gr., Las Vegas, Nevada / West Career & Technical Academy

  • Scored a league-best 9.900 on beam during a dual meet at Southern Utah.
  • Also competed on vault and bars during the meet, scoring a 9.725 and 9.800, respectively.

MW teams will be back in action on Friday, Feb. 14, celebrating Valentine’s Day with Boise State hosting San José State, and Utah State traveling to Fort Worth, Texas, for the Metroplex Challenge against Texas Woman’s and California.

The 2025 regular season will culminate at the Credit Union 1 MW Gymnastics Championship, slated to be hosted by San José State on Saturday, March 22. Tickets are available at this link or through the SJSU ticket office.
