COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Colorado State’s Emma Ronsiek was tabbed the Mountain West Women’s Basketball Player of the Week and UNLV’s Meadow Roland was selected as the MW Women’s Basketball Freshman of the Week.

This is the fourth MW weekly honor for Ronsiek and third for Roland in the 2024-25 season.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK

EMMA RONSIEK, COLORADO STATE

Graduate, Forward, Sioux Falls, South Dakota/Creighton

  • Led the Rams to a 2-0 week on the road with wins over New Mexico (69-63) and Boise State (67-61).
  • Averaged 20 points, seven rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.5 steals per game.
  • At New Mexico, logged 16 points, eight rebounds, five assists and one steal.
  • At Boise State, registered 24 points with a perfect 12-for-12 from the free-throw line, six rebounds, two assists and two steals for the Green and Gold.

FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK

MEADOW ROLAND, UNLV

Forward, Fresno, California/San Joaquin Memorial HS

  • Helped the Lady Rebels to a 2-0 week with wins at Utah State (89-51) and against New Mexico (90-65).
  • Coming off the bench in both contests, averaged 14.5 points, eight rebounds, 1.5 blocks and one steal per game.
  • Shot 63.2 percent from the floor and 66.7 percent from the charity stripe.
  • At Utah State, recorded a team-high 16 points, seven rebounds, two blocks and one steal.
  • Against the Lobos, tallied 13 points, nine rebounds, one block and one steal for the Scarlet and Gray.
