COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The balance in the Mountain West was once again on full display as gymnasts from all four teams within the conference were recognized with weekly honors as the MW announced accolades for Week 4 of the 2025 season.
ALL-AROUNDER & VAULT SPECIALIST OF THE WEEK
MAGGIE SLIFE, AIR FORCE
So., Oconomowoc, Wisconsin / Arrowhead HS
- Scored a conference-best 39.350 in a tri-meet against Hamline and MW foe San José State.
- Captured the vault title with a conference-best 9.900 at the meet.
- Also secured individual titles on bars (9.825) and floor (9.850), while scoring a 9.775 on beam en route to her all-around total.
CO-BARS SPECIALIST OF THE WEEK
AVERY BIBBEY, UTAH STATE
Jr., Chandler, Arizona / Perry HS
- Scored a league-best 9.900 on bars during a tri-meet against Sacramento State and MW foe Boise State.
- Shared the individual title on the event with teammates Brianna Brooks and Dani Kirstine.

- Scored a league-best 9.900 on bars during a tri-meet against Sacramento State and MW foe Boise State.
- Shared the individual title on the event with teammates Avery Bibbey and Dani Kirstine.
- Also scored a league-best 9.900 on beam to capture the individual on the event.

- Scored a 9.875 on beam in the tri-meet with Hamline and San José State to match the highest mark by a freshman in the league.
- Shared the individual title on beam with Falcon teammate Kylee Greene and San José State freshman Madison Gustitus.

ALYSSA BIGLER, AIR FORCE
Fr., Phoenix, Arizona / Sandra Day O’Connor HS
- Scored a 9.875 on vault in the tri-meet with Hamline and San José State to match the highest mark by a freshman in the league.
- Also competed on bars (9.700), beam (9.800) and floor (9.775) en route to a 39.150 in the all-around during the meet.
CO-FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
MADISON GUSTITUS, SAN JOSÉ STATE
Fr., Chicago, Illinois / Neuqua Valley HS
- Scored a 9.875 on beam in the tri-meet with Hamline and Air Force to match the highest mark by a freshman in the league.
- Shared the individual title on beam with Air Force’s Anna Bacott and Kylee Greene.
MW teams will be back in action on Friday, Feb. 7, when Utah State hosts San José State. Air Force and Boise State will then compete on Sunday, Feb. 9, when the Falcons host the Broncos alongside Greenville. Utah State visits Southern Utah on Monday, Feb. 10.
The 2025 regular season will culminate at the Credit Union 1 MW Gymnastics Championship, slated to be hosted by San José State on Saturday, March 22. Tickets are available at this link or through the SJSU ticket office.
