Colorado Springs, Colo. – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released its annual 2024 Cross Country Academic All-America honors this week and Mountain West men’s and women’s teams and athletes earned accolades.
On the men’s side, Air Force, Boise State, Nevada, New Mexico and Utah State were named All-Academic Teams for 2024, while Boise State’s Joe Hudson, New Mexico’s Habtom Samuel and Utah State’s Camren Todd were both awarded Academic All-America honors.
For the women, nine teams – Air Force, Boise State, Fresno State, Nevada, New Mexico, San Diego State, UNLV, Utah State and Wyoming – picked up the team academic award, while five – Air Force’s Ally Peterson, Boise State’s Emily Jobes, Yasmin Marghini and Kaiya Robertson and Utah State’s Emma Thornley – were all named USTFCCCA Academic All-Americans.
