LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – UNLV Head Women’s Basketball Coach Lindy La Rocque has been named one of 10 coaches to the 2025 Kathy Delaney-Smith Mid-Major Coach of the Year midseason watch list presented by Her Hoop Stats, the organization announced Wednesday morning. This is the second season of the award, named after the legendary former Harvard head coach. The midseason watch list includes coaches from seven conferences.

La Rocque who is in her fifth season at the helm of the Lady Rebels has an overall record of 117-26 thus far. As she entered the season, La Rocque had the third highest win percentage (.823) among coaches who have spent five seasons or less with their respective teams. This season, the Lady Rebels are currently 15-4 and remain atop the Mountain West with a 7-0 record. UNLV picked up two 19-point wins over both UCF (Big 12) and DePaul (Big East) this season, which is tied for the most wins by that margin or more against power conference teams in a single season in MW history.
