COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The parity in the Mountain West was again on full display as gymnasts from each school picked up weekly honors as the MW announced accolades for Week 2 of the 2025 season.

ALL-AROUNDER OF THE WEEK
MAGGIE SLIFE, AIR FORCE
So., Oconomowoc, Wisconsin / Arrowhead HS

  • One of only four gymnasts in the MW to compete in the all-around this week, scoring a league-best 39.275 at Arizona.
  • Also scored a 9.800 on vault, 9.850 on bars, 9.725 on beam and 9.900 on floor at the meet.
  • Won the all-around title in the Falcons’ head-to-head meet at Arizona.

CO-VAULT SPECIALIST OF THE WEEK
ALYSSA VULAJ, BOISE STATE

  • Scored a league-best 9.850 on vault at Georgia.
  • Also competed on beam and floor during the meet, scoring a 9.800 on each.

  • Scored a league-best 9.850 on vault at the Best of Utah meet.

Gymnastics competition continues in the MW this week with Utah State and Air Force meeting in a conference clash inside the Cadet West Gym on Friday. San José State and Boise State wrap up the week on Sunday in a quad meet in San Jose, California, alongside Sacramento State and UC Davis.

The 2025 regular season will culminate at the Credit Union 1 MW Gymnastics Championship, slated to be hosted by San José State on Saturday, March 22.
