COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – FOX’s BIG NOON KICKOFF crew will be on-site at the 2024 Old Trapper Mountain West Football Championship in Boise, Idaho, on Friday, Dec. 6, to present a special Mountain West Championship Pregame show.
The Old Trapper Mountain West Football Championship will feature No. 11 Boise State hosting either Colorado State or No. 22 UNLV on FOX at 6 p.m. MT. The Mountain West Championship Pregame will start at 5 p.m. MT.
The Broncos finished their regular season with their 10th straight win Friday, a 34-18 victory over Oregon State to move to 11-1 overall. Boise State went 7-0 in MW play to earn the right to host the game at Albertsons Stadium, where it has won 11 straight games.
Colorado State (8-4, 6-1 MW) stormed back in the fourth quarter to top Utah State 42-37 on Friday to keep its title hopes alive. UNLV (9-2, 5-1 MW) would clinch the second spot in the title tilt with a win over rival Nevada on Saturday, as its current CFP ranking serves as the tiebreaker since UNLV and CSU did not meet this season.
Boise State will be seeking its second straight MW Championship Game win and fifth overall. The Broncos topped UNLV in the 2023 edition, 44-20.
