COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Boise State has clinched a spot in the 2024 Old Trapper Mountain West Football Championship, set to take place Friday, Dec. 6. The Broncos’ opponent and the site of the title game are to be determined.
Ranked No. 12 in the latest CFP rankings, Boise State is 10-1 overall and topped Wyoming 17-13 on Saturday to complete MW play with a 7-0 record.
Should Colorado State (7-3, 5-0 MW) lose at Fresno State on Saturday, the Broncos would earn the right to host the championship game against either the Rams or 24th-ranked UNLV, which downed San José State on Friday, 27-16, to move to 5-1 in Conference action.
Led by Heisman frontrunner Ashton Jeanty, Boise State will be appearing in the MW title game for the third straight season and the eighth time overall in the game’s 12th season of existence.
The Old Trapper Mountain West Football Championship will air on FOX for the fifth straight season. The contest is set for a 6 p.m. MT / 5 p.m. PT start.
