PRESS RELEASE (PDF)

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – San José State wide receiver Nick Nash has been named a 2024 Biletnikoff Award Semifinalist, announced by the Tallahassee Quarterback Club (TQC) Foundation, Inc. on Monday.

Nash leads the country in touchdown receptions (14), receptions (95), receptions per game (9.5), receiving yards (1,282) and receiving yards per game (128.2). Nash has also thrown for two touchdowns this season and helped lead the Spartans to bowl eligibility.

Nash’s 95 receptions this season is an SJSU single-season record, and he has an SJSU record touchdown reception in all 10 games played this season. Nash is one touchdown reception shy of tying the SJSU single-season touchdown receiving record.

Against No. 13 Boise State on Saturday, Nash had nine catches for 126 yards and one touchdown.

There are 11 semifinalists, and the three finalists will be announced on Nov. 26.

The Biletnikoff Award annually recognizes the college football season’s outstanding FBS receiver at any position. Any player, regardless of position (wide receiver, tight end, slot back, and running back) who catches a pass is eligible for the award.

The semifinalists, finalists, and award recipients are selected by the distinguished Biletnikoff Award National Selection Committee, a group of 600 prominent college football journalists, commentators, announcers, Biletnikoff Award winners, and other former receivers.
