COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Fresno State junior Mia Jacobs has been tabbed the Mountain West Women’s Basketball Player of the Week, while Colorado State’s Kloe Froebe collected the MW Freshman of the Week nod.

MIA JACOBS, FRESNO STATE
Junior, Forward, Perth, Australia/La Salle
- Led the Bulldogs to a 3-0 week with wins over UC Riverside (63-53), Southern Utah (67-59) and UC San Diego (65-53).
- Averaged 18 points, 9.7 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 2.3 steals and 1.0 blocks per game. In over 100 minutes of play, shot 51.5 percent from the field and 85.7 percent from the charity stripe.
- Against UC Riverside, registered a double-double with 21 points and a career-high 15 rebounds along with two steals, one assist and one block.
- Against Southern Utah, tallied 26 points and five rebounds. Also contributed three steals, two assists and one block for the Bulldogs.
- At UC San Diego, notched seven points, nine rebounds, seven assists, two steals and one block.
FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
KLOE FROEBE, COLORADO STATE
Guard, Lincoln, Illinois/Lincoln HS
- Helped the Rams to a split week, falling at BYU (55-69) and winning against Columbia College (85-28).
- The rookie started both games for the Green and Gold and averaged 14.5 points and 4.0 rebounds per game. Shot 87.5 percent from the free-throw line (7-of-8) and 50 percent from the field (11-of-22).
- At BYU, logged 14 points and one rebound and was perfect from the free-throw line on four attempts.
- Against Columbia College, tied with teammate Emma Ronsiek for a game-high 15 points while shooting 66.7 percent from the field (6-of-9) and going 3-of-4 on free throws. Also contributed seven rebounds, three steals and two assists for the Rams.
