COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Boise State senior forward Tyson Degenhart has been named the Mountain West Men’s Basketball Player of the Week, while San Diego State’s Taj DeGourville was tabbed the MW Freshman of the Week.

TYSON DEGENHART, BOISE STATE

  • Led Boise State to a pair of wins over Clemson (84-71) and Corban (100-65) last week.
  • Averaged 15.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and two assists per game, while shooting 78.6 percent from the floor.
  • Recorded a double-double against Clemson with 20 points and 11 boards.
  • Against Corban, posted 11 points, two rebounds and two assists in 21 minutes on the hardwood.

TAJ DEGOURVILLE, SAN DIEGO STATE

Guard, Las Vegas, Nevada/Wasatch Academy

  • Helped San Diego State to a 100-49 victory over Occidental.
  • Recorded 14 points, six boards and five assists in 21 minutes of action.
  • Shot 55.6 percent from the field.
