COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – After the conclusion of conference championship weekend, three Mountain West men’s cross country teams and one women’s cross country team appeared in the latest U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Poll (USTFCCCA), released on Tuesday, Nov. 5, the final poll ahead of next week’s NCAA Regionals.
The New Mexico men stayed at No. 6 after winning a second straight Mountain West Championship last week. Colorado State, who finished runner-up at the event, joined the rankings at No. 23, while Wyoming is ranked for a second consecutive poll, this time at No. 26.
On the women’s side, the New Mexico women, the 2024 Mountain West Women’s Cross Country Champions, remained in the top 10 at No. 10 after a No. 8 ranking in the previous poll.
The 2024 NCAA Regionals will take place at nine sites across the country on Friday, Nov. 15 while the 2025 NCAA Championships are set for Friday, Nov. 23.
