RENO, Nev. – Nevada Swimming & Diving was named a Scholar All-America program by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), and five members of the program were named Scholar All-Americans.

Frederica Kizek (Biotechnology) and Scarlett Ferris (Kinesiology) were named to the First Team, while Lucia Gabino (Kinesiology), Sara Mihalic (Biomedical engineering), and Yasmin Perry (Kinesiology) earned spots on the Second Team.

The Wolf Pack posted a team grade-point average of 3.53 for the Spring 2024 semester to earn its honor. To be eligible, teams must earn a GPA of at least 3.0.

For individual student-athletes, to earn first-team recognition, they must have a GPA of 3.5 and have competed at their level’s national championship meet. For a spot on the Second Team, individuals must have a 3.5 GPA and have hit a “B” time standard for the national championship or qualified for a diving zone qualification meet.
