ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The 2024 Mountain West Indoor Track & Field Championships opened competition Thursday with six events at the Albuquerque Convention Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

The day started with the men’s heptathlon and the conclusion of the women’s pentathlon before wrapping up with both the men’s and women’s 5,000-meter races and distance medley relays. With three events completed, Colorado State is leading the way in the women’s team score with 27 points, while New Mexico is out in front on the men’s side with 19 points.
