COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Nevada swept this week’s Mountain West Women’s Basketball weekly awards. Junior Audrey Roden was tabbed the MW Women’s Basketball Player of the Week, while Izzy Sullivan earned the MW Women’s Basketball Freshman of the Week nod.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
AUDREY RODEN, NEVADA
Junior, Guard, West Linn, Oregon/West Linn HS
- Led the Wolf Pack to a 2-0 week with thrilling wins over San Diego State (72-71) and Boise State in overtime (68-65).
- Averaged 18 points per game, shot 51.9 percent from the field and 66.7 from 3-point range, while pulling down 4.5 rebounds, dishing three assists and 1.5 steals per game.
- Against San Diego State, logged 19 points, four boards, four assists and one steal.
- Against Boise State, recorded 17 points, five rebounds, two assists and two steals. Posted the game-winning steal and layup for the Wolf Pack with 12 seconds to play in overtime.
FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
IZZY SULLIVAN, NEVADA
Guard, Sammamish, Washington/ Eastside Catholic HS
- Averaged 16 points per game for Nevada, while knocking down a perfect 8-of-8 from the free throw line.
- Against San Diego State, logged 13 points, four rebounds and two assists.
- Led the Wolf Pack in scoring with 19 points in an overtime win against Boise State, while grabbing a career-high six rebounds.
