COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Boise State sophomore Tatum Thompson has been tabbed the Mountain West Women’s Basketball Player of the Week, while Air Force’s Keelie O’Hollaren garnered the MW Women’s Basketball Freshman of the Week nod.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK

TATUM THOMPSON, BOISE STATE

Sophomore, Guard/Forward, Woodinville, Washington / Woodinville HS

  • Led the Broncos to a 1-0 week with a win over Fresno State (60-50).
  • Scored a career-high 21 points against the Bulldogs, shot 6-of-10 from the field, a perfect 2-of-2 from three-point range and 7-of-11 from the free throw line.
  • Trailing by four in the third quarter, scored 14 of the Broncos next 16 points to give Boise State the lead for good.
  • Also contributed seven rebounds, two steals and one assist.

FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK

KEELIE O’HOLLAREN, AIR FORCE

Guard, Lake Oswego, Oregon / Lakeridge HS

  • Helped the Falcons to a 2-0 week with wins over Colorado State (59-49) and San José State (78-56).
  • Averaged 10.5 points, two rebounds, two assists and one steal per game.
  • Against the Rams, posted nine points, 3-of-8 from three, with four rebounds, three assists and two steals.
  • At San José State, logged 12 points, shot 80 percent from the field, 75 percent from three-point range and contributed one assist for the Falcons.
