COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Utah State junior Great Osobor has been named the Mountain West Men’s Basketball Player of the Week, while New Mexico’s JT Toppin was tabbed the MW Freshman of the Week.

GREAT OSOBOR, UTAH STATE
Junior, Forward, Bradford, England/Montana State
- Led Utah State to a 2-0 record to open Mountain West play with wins at UNLV (87-86) and against Wyoming (83-59).
- Averaged 22 points, 11 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game, while shooting 65.2 percent from the field.
- Recorded 20 points, eight boards, three steals and two assists in the win over the Cowboys.
- Posted a double-double with 24 points and 11 rebounds against the Runnin’ Rebels. Also tallied four assists and two blocks.
- Made two free throws with 8.4 seconds left in regulation to seal the win over UNLV.

JT TOPPIN, NEW MEXICO
Forward, Dallas, Texas/Faith Family Academy of Oak Cliff
- Helped New Mexico to a 1-1 record with a win over 19/19 San Diego State (88-70) and loss to UNLV (83-73).
- Averaged 16.5 points, 11 rebounds and three blocks per game.
- In the win over the Aztecs, recorded 17 points, a career-high 16 boards and five blocks.
- Against the Runnin’ Rebels, registered 16 points and six rebounds.
