FORT COLLINS – Colorado State men’s basketball guard Isaiah Stevens has been named to the Wooden Award’s Preseason Top 50 List announced on Tuesday. Stevens is the second Ram in the past three years to find his name on the list joining David Roddy who was a finalist for the award in 2022.

The placement on the Wooden Award List goes along with his preseason accolades of Mountain West Preseason Player of the Year and Bob Cousy Watchlist.

Stevens started his 2023-24 season with back-to-back double-doubles to help CSU to a pair of wins. He is averaging 18.5 points and NCAA leading 12.0 assists per game. Against Wright State he reset his own single-game record with 14 assists to go with his 22 points. He helped CSU record 37 assists on the night to set a team record as well.

Colorado State returns to action Tuesday night with a trip down the road to Northern Colorado at 6 pm.
