COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – UNLV junior Natalia Ruiz has been named the Mountain West Women’s Cross Country Athlete of the Week, while Air Force sophomore Brenton Maddox was selected as the MW Men’s Cross Country Athlete of the Week. Michaela Workman and Patrick Lawson of Air Force were tabbed the MW Freshmen of the Week.

- Won the UC Riverside Invitational with a personal-best 5k time of 17:02.2.
- Time was nearly two seconds faster than the UNLV record that stood for almost 35 years.
