COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Boise State’s Autumn Ost has been named the Mountain West Women’s Cross Country Athlete of the Week and teammate Ned Potter was selected as the MW Men’s Cross Country Athlete of the Week. Natalie Swain and Drew Hogan of Utah State were tabbed the MW Freshmen of the Week.

 

WOMEN’S ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

AUTUMN OST, BOISE STATE

Junior, Portland, Oregon/Franklin HS

  • Placed third at the USF Cross Country Invitational, clocking a 6k time of 20:43.6.
  • Helped Boise State to a second-place team finish.

 

WOMEN’S FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK

NATALIE SWAIN, UTAH STATE

South Jordan, Utah/Bingham HS

  • Placed third at the USU Sagebrush Invitational, recording a time of 18:33.
  • Helped Utah State to a first-place team finish.

 

MEN’S ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

NED POTTER, BOISE STATE

Junior, Chichester, England/Loughborough University

  • Placed first at the USF Cross Country Invitational, recording an 8k time of 24:09.1.
  • Led Boise State to a first-place team finish, upsetting nationally-ranked Stanford.

 

MEN’S FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK

DREW HOGAN, UTAH STATE

Syracuse, Utah/Syracuse HS

  • Placed third at the USU Sagebrush Invitational, crossing the finish line in 21:31.
  • Helped Utah State claim a first-place team finish.
