COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Major League Baseball Opening Day is here, and Mountain West baseball is well represented on active rosters heading into the 2023 season.

This season, 17 players from current Mountain West institutions are on active rosters as the season swings into action. San Diego State leads the Conference with five former student-athletes on an MLB roster, while Fresno State has four, UNLV has three, Nevada and New Mexico each have two and Air Force has one.
