TUCSON, Ariz. – No. 3 San Diego State and No. 4 UNLV punched its tickets to the 2022 Mountain West Women’s Tennis Championship match.
 
The match is set for Saturday, April 30 at 11 a.m. PT at El Conquistador Tucson. The Mountain West Network, in partnership with PlaySight, will stream the final contest of the 2022 MW Women’s Tennis Championship. Links to the broadcast and live stats can be found on TheMW.com.
 
San Diego State and UNLV will meet in the championship match for the second-consecutive Conference tournament. In 2019, the Rebels downed San Diego State 4-0.

  • With the win, UNLV improved to 19-5 overall. 
  • UNLV will make its fifth-consecutive appearance in the MW Women’s Tennis Championship match and 12th time overall.
  • The Rebels took an early 1-0 lead, claiming the doubles point over Nevada.
  • In singles competition, Molly Helgesson and Zita Kovacs earned back-to-back straight-set wins on courts No. 1 and No. 2, respectively.
