2017 Media Summit Central | Like the @MountainWest on Facebook
LAS VEGAS — For the fifth consecutive year, the Mountain West Network will provide live coverage from the MW Football Media Summit, which will be held Monday, July 24 through Wednesday, July 26 at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. And, for the second time in as many years, the Mountain West Network will also offer fans unprecedented access throughout the Media Summit festivities thanks to the league’s partnership with Facebook.
Live coverage gets underway on Monday, July 24 as student-athletes from the West Division take part in the 2017 edition of the MW Social Media Room. Shows will air live on Facebook from 4:45 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. PT, and the Social Media Room will re-convene on Tuesday, July 25 with the Mountain Division student-athletes. Media Summit festivities resume at 7 a.m. PT on Tuesday, July 25, as the Mountain West will announce its 2017 predicted order of finish and preseason All-Conference football honorees using Facebook Live on the MW’s official Facebook page. Then, at 8 a.m. PT, Mountain West Network lead anchor Jesse Kurtz will host the first of four newsmaker roundtables, which will delve into national topics that are at the forefront of the college football enterprise. These roundtables will feature Commissioner Craig Thompson and Deputy Commissioner Bret Gilliland of the Mountain West, as well as College Football Playoff Executive Director Bill Hancock, ESPN analyst Kelly Stouffer, and all 12 head football coaches. Each of the four roundtables will also feature questions from the media in attendance and will be broadcast live on the official Facebook page of the Mountain West.
