COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – 15 student-athletes from seven Mountain West institutions represented the conference at the 2026 Division I Swimming and Diving Championships over the weekend at the McAuley Aquatic Center in Atlanta, Georgia. Four swimmers earned All-America second team honors with their respective finishes: Fresno State’s Mackenzie Miller Lung (100-yard breaststroke), Nevada’s Scarlett Ferris (100-yard backstroke) and Washington State’s Emily Lundgren (200-yard breaststroke) and Darcy Revitt (100-yard freestyle).
Colorado State’s Tess Whineray finished 30th in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 1:53.96. She also finished 45th in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 52.69.
Fresno State’s Aliz Kalmar and Mackenzie Miller Lung both competed in the 100-yard and 200-yard breaststroke and Ally Grace dove in the platform event. In the 100-yard breaststroke, Miller Lung finished 15th with a time of 58.89, earning her All-America second-team honors, and Kalmar finished 29th with a time of 59.88. Grace was the only Mountain West diver competing in the platform event and she finished 28th with a score of 239.80. As a team, Fresno State finished 42nd with three points.
Nevada’s Scarlett Ferris turned in the best performances by a Mountain West swimmer, finishing ninth in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 50.98, becoming Nevada’s first swimming All-American since 2015, earning second-team honors. Ferris also finished 22nd in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 51.72 and 51st in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 49.25. Moji Pholijamjumrus also competed for the Wolf Pack, finishing 27th in the 200-yard butterfly with 1:56.64 and 42nd in the 400-yard individual medley with time of 4:15.32. As a team, Nevada was the highest finishing program in the league, placing 33rd in the championship meet with nine points.
San Diego State’s Moa Bergdahl finished 31st in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 59.94 and also competed in the 200-yard breaststroke but was disqualified. Abigail Storm finished 36th in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 52.31 and 42nd in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 1:57.61.
UNLV’s Ava Olson finished 30th in the 1650-yard freestyle with a time of 16:27.04 and 53rd in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 4:47.49. Rachel Wigginton finished 32nd in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 1:58.12.
Washington State’s Emily Lundgren finished 15th in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:08.13, earning All-America second-team honors, and 27th in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 59.83. She finished her Cougar career as the most decorated swimmer in program history. Teammate Darcy Revitt also earned All-America second-team honors after finishing 16th in the 100-yard freestyle. She also broke her own school record in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 21.81, finishing 22nd. Lundgren and Revitt are the first set of Washington State swimmers to earn All-America honors in the same season. As a team, Washington State finished 42nd with three points.
Wyoming’s Macey Hansen finished 37th in the 1650-yard freestyle with a time of 16:35.06. Tara Joyce finished 42nd in the 200-yard free with a time of 1:46.84 and also finished 50th in the 100-yard free with a time of 48.96. Alcia Gonzalez wrapped up her Cowgirl career diving in the 1-Meter and 3-Meter events. She finished 47th in the 3-Meter with a score of 220.35 and 49th in the 1-Meter with a score of 215.25.
