COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Mountain West will be duly represented at the 2026 NCAA Gymnastics Regionals as Utah State, Air Force and San José State all qualified, while Boise State will send a trio of gymnasts to compete on specific events.
Utah State, the highest ranked team in the MW at No. 26 in the nation, will take part in the Baton Rouge Regional and compete against No. 7 Stanford, No. 10 Michigan and No. 22 North Carolina. No. 30 Air Force will also represent the MW in Baton Rouge, facing No. 34 Nebraska in the opening round on Wednesday, April 1. A victory for the Falcons would move them into the next round against No. 2 LSU, No. 15 Clemson and No. 17 Auburn on Thursday, April 2.
No. 29 San José State will also take part in the play-in meet, facing No. 35 Washington in the first round of the Corvallis Regional on Thursday, April 2. A win for the Spartans would put them into the next round on Friday, April 3, against No. 4 UCLA, No. 13 Minnesota and No. 19 Iowa.
Boise State generated a trio of individual qualifiers who will take part in the Corvallis Regional on Friday, April 3, as senior Sydney Kho will compete on beam, while sophomore Kristina Shchennikova and junior Mahleea Werline will compete on bars.
