  • This season marks the league’s 13th straight year in which at least three teams earned a spot in postseason play.
  • The Air Force Falcons’ run to the MW Championship game marked the first time a No. 9 seed made such a run in league tournament history.
  • Colorado State allowed only 55.2 points per game while away from home this season, the sixth-best scoring defense in such games across DI in 2025-26. Opponents shot 36.1 percent from the floor against the Rams, the eighth-lowest FG% allowed by any DI team.
  • The Rams are seventh nationally in opponent points and opponent field goal percentage, holding their opposition to 54.9 points and 35 percent shooting from the floor. They are also ranked 23rd in DI in free throw percentage (77.1).
  • The Aztecs are ranked 15th in the country in three-point percentage (33.6) and make their second consecutive postseason tournament appearance.
  • Mountain West teams have taken down six Autonomous 4 and Big East programs: UNLV 85 – DePaul 78, Grand Canyon 78 – SMU 60, UNLV 76 – Creighton 67, New Mexico 72 at Arizona 69, San Diego State 64 at Kansas State 53, New Mexico 63 – Houston 41.
  • The MW is one of eight leagues to hold opponents to 62.7 points per game or less this season (America East – 59.0, Ivy – 60.4, Southern – 60.8, Patriot – 60.9, Coastal – 61.4, A10 – 62.1, CUSA – 62.3, Mountain West – 62.7).
  • The MW welcomed three new head coaches to the league: Ryan McCarthy (Fresno State), Winston Gandy (Grand Canyon) and Jonas Chatterton (San José State).
