COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Teams wrapped up competition this week going into the 2026 Mountain West Gymnastics Championships, garnering the final weekly awards of the 2026 season.

ALL-AROUND GYMNAST & CO-VAULT, BARS & BEAM SPECIALIST OF THE WEEK
MAGGIE SLIFE, AIR FORCE
Junior, Oconomowoc, Wisconsin/Arrowhead HS

  • Scored a league-best and Mountain West-record 39.675 in the all-around during a home meet against Fisk, capturing at least a share of first place on every event during the meet.
  • Scored a league-best-tying 9.875 on vault in the same meet against Fisk.
  • Scored a league-best 9.950 on bars in the meet against Fisk.
  • Scored a league-best and MW-record 9.975 on beam in the meet against Fisk.
  • Also competed on floor in the meet against Fisk, scoring a 9.875 as the Falcons scored a MW-record 197.150 as a team.
  • Slife has tallied 39 weekly awards this season.

CO-VAULT SPECIALIST OF THE WEEK
KAVIANA JURRIES, SAN JOSÉ STATE
Sophomore, Boise, Idaho/Bishop Kelly HS

  • Scored a league-best-tying 9.875 on vault to capture third place during at meet against Cal and Stanford in Berkeley, California.
  • Also competed on bars and floor, finishing with a pair of 9.850s.

FLOOR SPECIALIST OF THE WEEK
BLAKE PASCAL, BOISE STATE
Senior, Bechtelsville, Pennsylvania/Boyertown Area Senior HS

  • Scored a league-best 9.925 on floor to finish second on the event at Stanford.
  • Pascal is a two-time Floor Specialist of the Week in 2026.

FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
ERIN MCDERMOTT, AIR FORCE
Wesley Chapel, Florida/Wesley Chapel HS

  • Scored a 9.900 on beam in a meet against Fisk, the highest mark by a freshman on any event in the Mountain West this week.
  • Helped Air Force to a MW-record 197.150 team score during the meet.
