COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The NCAA announced the list of swimming qualifiers for the 2026 Division I Swimming and Diving Championships, with 13 student-athletes from seven Mountain West institutions earning the opportunity to compete on the national stage.
Colorado State will be represented by Tess Whineray, who qualified for the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 1:52.82. She is also an invitee in the 100-yard backstroke with a qualifying time of 51.73
Fresno State will have two swimmers competing in three events. Aliz Kalmar and Mackenzie Miller Lung both qualified for the 200-yard breaststroke, with entry times of 2:08.57 and 2:07.03, respectively. Miller Lung also qualified for the 100-yard breaststroke with an entry time of 57.92. Miller Lung’s 100-yard breaststroke time ranks as the eighth fastest qualifying time in the nation, while her 200-yard breaststroke time is the 10th quickest. Kalmar is also an invitee in the 100-yard breaststroke with a qualifying time of 59.97.
Nevada will send two swimmers for two separate events. Scarlett Ferris qualified for the 100-yard backstroke with an entry time of 50.78 and the 100-yard butterfly with an entry time of 51.34. Moji Pholijamjumrus qualified for the 200-yard butterfly with an entry time of 1:55.75 and the 400-yard individual medley with an entry time of 4:10.97. Ferris is also an invitee in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 48.03.
San Diego State’s Moa Bergdahl qualified for the 100-yard breaststroke with an entry time of 59.53, while teammate Abigail Storm qualified for the 200-yard backstroke with an entry time of 1:53.27. Bergdahl is also an invitee in the 200-yard breaststroke with a qualifying time of 2:10.97 and Storm is an invitee in the 100-yard backstroke with a qualifying time of 52.03.
UNLV had two swimmers qualify for the championship meet. Ava Olson qualified for the 500-yard freestyle with an entry time of 4:43.08 and Rachel Wigginton qualified for the 200-yard butterfly with an entry time of 1:57.08. Olson was also an invitee in the 1650-yard freestyle with a qualifying time of 16:23.21.
Washington State will send two swimmers who will compete in two separate events at the championships. Emily Lundgren qualified for both the 100- and 200-yard breaststroke events, posting entry times of 59.43 and 2:07.04, respectively. Darcy Revitt secured spots in both the 50- and 100-yard freestyles, with entry times of 21.83 and 47.45.
Wyoming’s Macey Hansen qualified for the 1,650-yard freestyle with an entry time of 16:16.54 and Tara Joyce qualified for the 200-yard freestyle with an entry time of 1:44.43. Joyce is also an invitee in the 100-yard freestyle with a qualifying time of 48.56.
Qualifying divers will be announced on March 12.
