COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Utah State clinched a share of the regular season Mountain West title, but it was individuals from Air Force, Boise State and San José State that took home weekly individual honors during Week 8 of the 2026 campaign.

ALL-AROUND GYMNAST & VAULT, BARS SPECIALIST OF THE WEEK
MAGGIE SLIFE, AIR FORCE
Junior, Oconomowoc, Wisconsin/Arrowhead HS

  • Scored a league-best 39.425 in the all-around to win the title in a dual meet at MW-foe Utah State.
  • Scored a league-best 9.925 on vault to capture her second of four individual titles against the Aggies.
  • Scored a league-best 9.900 on bars for her third of four individual titles at Utah State.
  • Also competed on beam and floor in Logan, finishing with a share of the floor title with a 9.850 and a 9.750 on beam.
  • Slife has tallied 31 weekly awards this season.

BEAM SPECIALIST & FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
SOPHIE PATTERSON, SAN JOSÉ STATE
Freshman, New Westminster, British Columbia/New Westminster Secondary

  • Scored a 9.925 on beam to finish second on the event in a tri-meet at Sacramento State with Cal.
  • The 9.925 was the highest mark by a freshman on any event in the Mountain West this week.
  • Patterson repeated as Freshman of the Week and has now won the honor four times this season.

CO-FLOOR SPECIALIST OF THE WEEK
BLAKE PASCAL, BOISE STATE
Senior, Bechtelsville, Pennsylvania/Boyertown Area Senior HS

  • Scored a league-best-tying 9.900 on floor to share the top of the podium in a quad meet at MW-foe San José State, alongside Arizona State and Sacramento State.
  • Split the individual title on floor with San José State’s Kaylee Larson.

CO-FLOOR SPECIALIST OF THE WEEK
KAYLEE LARSON, SAN JOSÉ STATE
Junior, Ladera Ranch, California/Pitt

  • Scored a league-best-tying 9.900 on floor to share the top of the podium in a quad meet against MW-foe Boise State, alongside Arizona State and Sacramento State.
  • Split the individual title on floor with Boise State’s Blake Pascal.
