COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Air Force junior Maggie Slife continued her reign with all-around and uneven bar accolades for a fifth consecutive week, claiming each weekly award since the beginning of the season.
ALL-AROUND GYMNAST, BARS, BEAM & CO-FLOOR SPECIALIST OF THE WEEK
MAGGIE SLIFE, AIR FORCE
Junior, Oconomowoc, Wisconsin/Arrowhead HS
- Scored a league-best 39.375 in the all-around to secure one of four titles in a tri-meet against Alaska and Mountain West-foe Utah State.
- Scored a Mountain West record and league-best 9.975 on bars for her fifth-straight Bars Specialist of the Week honor.
- Scored a league-best 9.900 on beam for her third individual title at the meet.
- Scored a league-best-tying 9.900 on floor for her fourth individual title at the meet.
- Rounded out her all-around total with a 9.600 on vault.
- Slife has tallied 18 weekly awards this season.
CO-VAULT SPECIALIST OF THE WEEK
KAVIANA JURRIES, SAN JOSÉ STATE
Sophomore, Boise, Idaho/Bishop Kelly HS
- Scored a league-best-tying 9.875 to capture the vault title with teammate Sophie Patterson in a quad meet again Oregon State, UC Davis and MW-foe and host Boise State.
- Also competed on bars and floor during the meet, scoring a 9.825 and 9.550, respectively.
- Has recorded three consecutive Vault Specialist of the Week honors.
CO-VAULT SPECIALIST OF THE WEEK
SOPHIE PATTERSON, SAN JOSÉ STATE
Freshman, New Westminster, British Columbia/New Westminster Secondary
- Scored a league-best-tying 9.875 to capture the vault title with teammate Kaviana Jurries in a quad meet again Oregon State, UC Davis and MW-foe and host Boise State.
- Also competed on bars and beam during the meet, scoring a 9.750 on each event.
CO-FLOOR SPECIALIST OF THE WEEK
ISABELLA VATER, UTAH STATE
Junior, Las Vegas, Nevada/Faith Lutheran HS
- Scored a league-best-tying 9.900 on floor to share the individual title in a tri-meet against Alaska and MW-foe Air Force.
- Also competed on bars during the meet, scoring a 9.750.
CO-FLOOR SPECIALIST & FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
MARA GRUBER, UTAH STATE
Arden Hills, Minnesota/Hill-Murray HS
- Scored a league-best-tying 9.900 on floor to win the event title in a quad meet against Southern Utah, Sacramento State and Alaska.
- The 9.900 marked the highest score by a freshman on any event in the Mountain West this week.
