COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – UNLV’s Meadow Roland was tabbed the Old Trapper Mountain West Women’s Basketball Player of the Week, while Nevada’s Skylar Durley collected the Old Trapper MW Freshman of the Week nod for the second consecutive week.
This is the third weekly honor for Roland and second for Durley during the 2025-26 season.
WOMEN’S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
MEADOW ROLAND, UNLV
Sophomore, Forward, Fresno, California/San Joaquim Memorial HS
- Led the Lady Rebels to another perfect week in Conference play, allowing the Scarlet and Grey to remain undefeated with wins over Utah State (69-58) and at Wyoming (82-53).
- Averaged a double-double with 18 points and 13 rebounds per game.
- Against the Aggies, logged a double-double with 18 points and 14 boards. Also contributed three blocks, one assist and one steal.
- At Wyoming, registered a double-double with 18 points and 12 rebounds.
WOMEN’S BASKETBALL FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
SKYLAR DURLEY, NEVADA
Guard, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma/Edmond North HS
- Helped the Wolf Pack to a 2-0 week with wins over Wyoming (70-60) and at New Mexico (70-61).
- Averaged a double-double, 16 points and 10 boards per game and shot 60 percent from the floor.
- Against the Cowgirls, recorded her first career-double-double, 18 points and a career-high 14 rebounds. Also contributed four assists and one steal for the Wolf Pack. Shot 61.5 percent from the field.
- At New Mexico, tallied 15 points, six rebounds and two assists. Also logged a 58.3 field goal percentage.
